 The Bullfrog Brewery, located in downtown Williamsport, Pa, is an award-winning microbrewery / restaurant and has quickly grown into one of the largest attractions in Northcentral Pennsylvania. Established in August, 1996, our goal is to provide a pleasant atmosphere and the best in food and beer. The Bullfrog Brewery, in competition with thousands of craft-brewed beers from different breweries around the world, recently won a World Beer Cup Gold Medal and Silver Medal. Along with our award-winning brews we offer live entertainment, ranging from jazz to Celtic music and everything in between. We are finally bottling small batches of some of our beers here at the frog! Currently we have several different beers available... Red Star (belgian-inspired amber ale), Diabolique (belgian-inspired organic golden ale), Unique Singel, Friar Frog Dubbel, Trippel Trubbel, Wit's End, and many other offerings right around the corner. All are packaged in 750 ml Champagne-style bottles and of course are bottle conditioned. Throughout the year we'll be releasing different beers as they mature in the bottles and become available for sale. Check the "coming soon" section of the On Tap Now page for a (nearly) full list.

Bullfrog Brewery ‘Beekeeper’ wins Gold Medal in Wood and Barrel Aged Sours Beers category at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival® WILLIAMSPORT, PA - (October 28, 2008) The Bullfrog Brewery, a brewpub located in Williamsport, PA, has been awarded a Gold Medal at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival® in Denver, CO. for their beer Beekeeper. This award, achieved in the category of Wood and Barrel Aged Sours Beers, was one of only 74 gold medals selected from the nearly 3000 entries at this year’s convention. The Bullfrog Brewery was also one of only three other Pennsylvania breweries that received gold medal awards for their products this year. “When we received word we had won a gold medal, it gave me the chills.” said Steve Koch, owner of the Bullfrog Brewery. “I think this should be seen as another feather in Williamsport's hat and give the community a sense of pride. We have such a tight knit Pub Club and family of regular patrons that I think every member feels a bit of ownership in this accomplishment.” “The 5 beers we entered this year were in some relatively niche categories. For instance we had beers in Belgian and French style categories, as well as in popular styles such as Fresh Hop and Barleywines,” said Terry Hawbaker, head brewer at the Bullfrog Brewery. “This win is something every brewer hopes to achieve. I’m really proud that I was able to win this award for the Bullfrog Brewery and as their head brewer.
